Two Free Dancing Events this Weekend!

Because I love to salsa dance, frequently people ask me about great places to dance and learn how to salsa dance. Well, my friends, there are two really cool *FREE* events this weekend that I thought I would share with the whole world. 1) This Friday, June 8^th – Dance Downtown – Free Salsa Lesson and Dance

I will be there with several of my non-member salsa dance buddies. This has a really good, clean “non-club” environment. If you come, please introduce yourself to me and I’ll introduce you to everyone I know.

WHERE: Music Center Plaza (outside) in front of the Dorothy Chandler Pavillon
WHEN: 6:30pm - 10:00pm
ADMISSION: FREE - First come, first served.

BEGINNER DANCE LESSON at 6:30PM

2) Saturday afternoon - Free “Cuban” Salsa Dance Class in Bellflower called “Rueda in the Park”

This is my newest addiction, a type of salsa square dance called “Rueda”. I’m still just a beginner but this dance style is loads of fun. Normally these classes are for intermediate salsa dancers but they are now allowing people who can hardly dance to come. Oh, and by the way, we could use more girls in the beginner’s class! I’ll for sure be there!
